Our Cheltenham Centre requires an experienced Project Manager to manage the implementation and integration of the future sales agency model. Your main responsibilities will centre around developing and executing a comprehensive project plan to ensure a smooth transition. This will include liaising with the manufacturer and Cotswold Motor Group, assisting in business process redesign, creating buy-in to change through coaching and training, improving the provision of management information and helping to solve any post go-live issues. The successful candidate will be able to write and present clear reports for non-technical readers, have proven organisation and planning skills as well as a qualification in business analysis.

Desirable Criteria

  • A qualification in business analysis
  • Previous experience of business process improvement
  • Working Knowledge of project management
  • Previous Experience in Business change and process improvement initiatives.
  • Negotiating and influencing skills
  • Strategic focus with ability to align project objectives with strategic goals
  • Ability to evaluate and prioritise projects based on available resources
  • Database management experience
  • Previous Motortrade experience

Responsibilities

  • Engage with key stakeholders and manufacturers investigate, analyse and document business processes and activities to provide insights and understanding with regards to strategic and operational user requirements.;
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and transformation- review how business systems are currently used and identify possible systems improvements and potential efficiency gains;
  • Assist in business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology solutions.
  • Assist with business process change initiatives and development of requirements for new solutions;
    • Assist with project scoping and defining high level project objectives;
    • Assist users with creating and validating functional specifications as well as assessing functional requirements against technology solutions;
  • Provide assistance with business case development;
  • Facilitate stakeholder buy-in to business transformation through coaching and training sessions;
  • Provide support to the business in preparing for the business change associated with projects;
  • Co-ordinate the execution of business projects, supporting the delivery of projects at all phases including supporting the implementation team and helping to solve post go-live issues;
  • Improve the provision of management information, using business systems to develop data and insights and developing business intelligence for business users;
  • To deliver overall business improvement for the team, through effective system administration, optimising efficiency, and developing transformative business processes and intelligence.
  • Attendance to regular FSM briefings held by the manufacturer.
