HR Advisor – Hereford

We are looking for a HR Advisor to join our dynamic and talented team at Cotswold Motor Group.

The successful candidate will have previous experience within a busy and demanding role and be able to quickly establish and build rapport with customers. Previous telephone experience is preferable but not essential.

The successful candidate will have previous experience within a similar role and hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification.

About the Role

You will be welcomed into a friendly, motivated and highly successful team working within a state of the art facility.

As a HR Advisor you will be focused on advising line managers on any employee relation queries, ensuring all employees are receiving the correct training for their role, and creating recruitment campaigns for managers looking for new or additional employees.

Responsibilities:

Personnel

  • Support and advise Line Managers effectively with reviews, investigations, performance management, disciplinary and grievance, and appeal meetings.
  • Managing absence procedures
  • Support with return-to-work meetings
  • Monitoring, reviewing and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with the current legislation.
  • Liaise with payroll in regards to employee information and leavers forms on a monthly basis.
  • Conduct Exit Interviews
  • Creating and updating personnel files
  • Inductions for new team members
  • Preparing offer letters and change letters
  • Managing site review frequency calendar
  • Completing References

Training

  • Oversee the Training function for the Hereford Centre.
  • Liaising with the BMW Group Academy to understand course availability and upcoming programmes
  • Monitor training targets
  • Coordinate trainee induction programmes

Recruitment

  • Create recruitment campaigns and initiatives
  • Conduct staff recruitment events
  • Develop job descriptions and person specifications
  • Prepare job adverts
  • Process application forms, CV screening and conduct initial telephone interviews
  • Carry out right to work checks
