Aftersales Preparation Controller– Cheltenham

Salary: £32,000 - £34,000.

40hrs Monday- Friday

Our Cheltenham retailer has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Aftersales Preparation Controller to join their team.

The ideal Prep Controller:

To be considered for this role the candidate will have previous experience of working within SMART repair/Bodyshop in the Motor Trade and ideally have experience in a leadership or management role.

This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate a proven track record of performance, people management and excellent communication skills. This is a fast past environment so the ideal candidate must be good under pressure and be able to multi-task. A Full UK Driving Licence is required.

About the Role

As the aftersales preparation controller, you will be responsible for the overall management of the SMART repair department to ensure the department runs smoothly and efficiently.

This includes:

• Maximising the profitability and efficiently of the department
• Identifying sales/revenue opportunities
• Regularly review systems, processes and facility to access efficiency/functionality and identify if future improvement as required
• Managing, coaching and inspiring the SMART repair team
• Manage the day-to-day activity/workload of the team ensuring regular communication with all parties involved in the preparation process
• Ensuring that manufacturer standards are maintained at all times
• Maintaining relationships with manufacturer, suppliers and internal departments throughout the business.
