So confident, in fact, that they are one of very few motorcycle manufacturers to offer an Approved Used Bike programme (AUB). When buying a BMW AUB bike you can be sure the bike’s history has been checked, the servicing is up to date and that you will get a minimum 12 month’s manufacturer warranty, and 12 months’ MOT, Road Tax and Emergency Service cover.

BMW Low Seat Bikes
BMW Motorrad has good news for riders who either need or prefer a lower seat height, but do not want to compromise on
model choice. BMW is the first motorcycle manufacturer to launch a range of six models that can be ordered from the factory with lowered suspension – to provide customers with low seat height options.

Feedback from female, novice and shorter riders confirmed that controlling a machine can be difficult at slow speeds, especially when riding motorcycles with a higher seat height. These riders feel more secure when they are able to place their feet firmly on the ground, especially under stop-start conditions.

The six Low Seat models are:
F800 S Sports – low seat height 760mm
F800 ST Sports Tourer – low seat height 760mm
F650 GS Enduro – low seat height 765mm
R1200 R Roadster – low seat height 750mm
R1200 GS Enduro – low seat height 790mm
R1200 RT Tourer – low seat height 750mm
